Granny’s prides itself on having a wide mix of music styles and have a very varied
upcoming selection with something to suit most tastes but more than anything we are
about “live” music.
Granny's is a very intimate venue in the heart of Lowestoft and just a short walk
from the train station. Our aim is to bring big name bands and acts to play at a
smaller a venue, just like they would have done back when they were building there
careers giving you the chance to see these bands in a small, intimate venue. Classic
acts and future stars will grace the stage. Granny's is about the new and the old
the straight and the strange. So if you fancy a night out to remember that harks
back to the days of good pub gigs come along and give us a go, we look forward to
Granny's was born from an idea that was inspired by an old store on the Kings Road
in London called Granny Takes A Trip. The shop was famous for dressing, The Beatles,
The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan and many more. It was also
from the store that The HapHash poster company was formed which became world famous
for there psychedelic poster design. This hive of culture and art has inspired Granny’s.
